my brake rotor is cracking =(
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/66958/crack.jpg"></center><p>hey so while my wheel was off i noticed that there are a lot of cracks on my rotor where it attaches to the hat. has anyone heard of this happening on any APR kits before? or any BBKs for that matter

Isn't that the hat? I've had problems with the brake pad backing rubbing against the hat on mine
(yes, I have APR stgIII brakes) when the pads wear enough. Is there evidence of rubbing or grinding on the edge of the hat?

I doubt you can buy a replacement hat for the APR stgIII kit :-( Contact stoptech.
Maybe they can help.
I read something in the archives about the caliper bracket positioning the caliper too close to the hat on the early stoptech kits.
