So it took the strength of two men to remove my oil filter today..make sure to lube up that filter..
I must not have lubed mine enough, in the end it took both of us pulling/pushing on screwdrivers to get this thing off. I now have every single filter removal tool if any one needs one. I hand tightened it the last time I changed it and it must have taken well over 200lbs of torque to budge this thing. The dealer might have fuxored it when it was in for a uppper/lower? oil gaskets.

My screwdriver started shredding my filter last time...
...the 3-prong thingey from Craftsman that clamps down on the filter and digs into it as you turn it with a ratchet or wrench worked like an absolute charm though -- made all of the other filter wrenches look like totally useless POS's. I highly suggest getting it for your garage. If it can't get your filter off, it's not coming off...EVER.

yea saw the posts on that..sears says they are not selling them individually anymore...
but part of a $900 kit. But I think snapon or someone else might have it so i'm gonna keep trying.
