C230 Coupe vs S4 - he showed me...
I dunno, I thought I would post this cause once in a while it's nice to laugh and get a shot of adrenaline at whack jobs on the highway when you pretty much don't make it into work for the day.
On my way to work today a C230 coupe is behind me after turning from the gym. Waiting at the next light to turn left no doubt he had a nice look at the S4 badging, and you would think people would be smart. At least he was driving a Mercedes...
Waiting to turn left onto the on-ramp to the highway, and I have a Sentra infront of me, so we putz our way up the ramp doing mock 60 km/h, /w the C230 riding my ***. Riding in 4th gear as we take on speed, and drop it to 3rd wanting to get up to suitable speed, even though 2nd would have been much more advised since only doing 65-70 km/h if I wanted to zip but was slowly bringing it up to speed.
The C230 ends up doing the classic 'ricer' drive by, in the passing lane, quickly jumps into my lane making me have to brake a bit. He then quickly passes the car he had to jump into my lane for, then BARELY making it between the car infront of me and the car he was passing, making the car he was passing illegaly, slam on his brakes, while the C230 just about loses it going into the middle divider. He JUST caught the car from hitting the divider (within a foot tops) and with the angle he would have hit it at causing one hell of a pile up as he would have spun a couple times.
Not sure if we were racing through congested traffic (cause I wasn't so its quite the equation), but I sure as hope he doesn't drive like that normally or I will be buying a bus pass...
Am I old, whiny guy? No I like bringing her up to 160 km/h+, or gracefuly fly through lanes. Am I stupid? Well depends on your prospective. In the end, I 'got whooped by a C230'...
