Got Hit!! I think my car is totalled... Any suggestions?

2 days ago I got hit from the side causing me to spin onto a curb.
The current damage estimate is at $15k and they are not going to total it. I suspect drivetrain damage...
Damage includes...
-Pass. front door replacement
-Pass. rear door replacement
-both rear quarter panel fix do to suspension work
-All 4 wheels and tires replacement
-Driver rear suspension assembly

I have worries this is going to cause significant reduction to the value of my car (2001 S4 Avant with 75K)

What is the estimated value of my car once the car is fixed?
-Before being hit, it was valued at $27K.

What should I do to make sure that I am compensated with my losses?

Any help is greatly appreciated...

well it sure isnt going to be valued at 27k after the accident thats for sure..

I was going to have this talk with my insurance company when I totalled my old car but they decided to total it out instead. I would defintely talk to them about your loss of value and resale value after the fact when you go to sell a car. Theres no way someone would pay anywhere close to that amount knowing the car went through a serious accident. I sure wouldnt. Maybe it the car was priced at the sub 20k mark, Id think about it.

I doubt your car was worth $27K before being hit...

that was my thoughts too (more)

if theres a stage 3 casa sedan with 30k miles on it going for 27k, I doubt a stock avant would be worth that.

i work for a insurance company, what carrier are you dealing with..i work on claims all day long..

give me your email and and i'll help you deal with the company.. the compensation that your refering to is called (dimunition of value )...what state are you in because all states have different laws about same...
