2.7 dashboard noise
My 2.7 has a constant, irritating noise that seems to come from the dash, even with the air conditioning off. Sort of a whrrrrrrrrrrrgrindwhrrrrrrrrrgrind. When I open the hood I can't hear it from outside, but it's still noticeable inside.
I've got less than 500 miles on the car and plan to take it back for service, but I was wondering if anyone else has this noise?

I have a roof rattle others have noticed, plus an intermittent glove box rattle, and a whistle above 60-65 that seems to be caused by the cell phone antenna. Service next week.
But no dash noise. Thankfully.

Have dashboard sound, but....
not like the one you describe. Mine is a little bit of a creaking sound that so far I have diagnosed it as only happening when the interior temperature is below 60. Perhaps when the dash materials warm up and expand, it goes away. AGain, not a whirring though.

The driver's side seat belt recepticle creaks against the seat, but all I have to do is bend it or pull it slightly towards the back of the car and noise is gone. It was actually quite difficult to find as we all know that any noise in such a quiet cabin seems to come from everywhere.

I don't have this noise, but I do have a clicking that seems to be coming from the radio/CD area. It happens whenever I shift hard, turn sharply, etc. Is this typical for an indash CD drive?
