Pic of steering wheel Tip?

Does anyone have a picture of the tiptronic controls on the steering wheel (i.e. S4, Euro A6, or 2001 USA A6) ?

Is it a true paddle shift (with levers on the steering column) or is it buttons on the steering wheel (like the radio and cruise controls)?

Are you still able to shift via the transmission lever?

The controls are activated by moving the transmission lever from auto to tip mode first. Otherwise the transmission lever remains functional as w/o steering wheel controls.
I prefer the audio / phone control on the steering wheel...

Thanks for the picture!

Great! I sure wish, however, Audi would have the A6 2.7T in 2001 with a 3 spoke steering wheel along with the audio controls, instead of the Tip controls.<p>3gG0

I've got a 1999 A4 1.8TQ loaner with this steering wheel today while my car is at the dealer (2.7T 6M with ding and buzz). The tip controls are fun - my first thought was that they were the volume controls for the stereo - if you press the "up" side the stereo does sound louder (engine shifts to higher gear). Took a little getting used to but I started to use it quite a bit driving in to work. I like having the audio controls up there and think putting everything on would be overwhelming.
