Steve S, who has an S4, tried one on his car and determined he would need a small spacer. If you go thru the S4 archives, you may find a photo and more info on his experience. If your talking about a 2.8, you may not need spacers. I think the S8 wheels would look great on A6!

You rang? (yes...I have a pic)....no, they don't fit without a 5mm spacer
<center><img src="http://www.norcalaudiclub.org/events/diablo/diablo17.jpg"></center><p>Tried this one on my S4...got it off a friends S6 Avant....close but no ceegar...you would need spacers...I am guessing...yes, I said guessing...about a 5mm spacer...anymore than that and you might rub on the fender.
It all depends if you lower the car or not....
