Radio setting instability
DMR mentioned this in his review (- thanks! -) but I thought it's worth a new thread:
My (Bose) radio also changes freqs when the car starts, about 1/3 of the time, AM or FM. Seems to move one increment up (.2 MHz FM, 10 kHz AM) I'm not due for service for a while so I haven't done anything about it. Hardly a showstopper, but annoying.
Has anyone taken this up with the dealer or seen a service note or otherwise?

I have the Bose in my 4.2 and it does not do this. I have never had a stereo that has done that. It seems to me that something is wrong with your stereos head unit and it needs to be replaced. It should not change stations or frequency without your prompt.

There seem to be a lot of "Stu"'s with 2.7Ts...
Anyway, I have also experienced the strange frequency change on my radio. It is intermittent, and not reproducible. If anyone learnes more about it, please post.

I've had my delightful 2000 Avant for two weeks, and have experienced the "jump" on start up (unpredictably and intermittently, and once during travel). Goes just one notch in frequency.
Otherwise the car is flawless, and I'm finding the 2.8 acceleration and response much more than adequate. The 2000 changes in the 2.8 programming make the driving experience worthwhile!

Are you leaving the radio on?
I have had weird problems until I started to turn the radio off before hte ignition and manually turn it back on when I start the car; not sure if this will work but I no longer have any problems.
