AudiWorld merger!!
Maybe I'm a bit slow, but I just read that VWVortex has merged with AudiWorld and a couple of other sites to form BVerticals Inc. The release was dated 4/17 but haven't read any comments in this forum. Hope this merger won't change all the good work that AudiWorld is doing for us.

This is a great site, so I hope that doesn't change.
That said, if it fixes the server speed / ISP connectivity / whatever the problem is, I'll be a happy camper. I don't get on in the evenings any more due to site performance problems. You'll note it's around 6:30AM EDT (he sez while drinking his morning coffee).

Merger will improve many things...
AudiWorld is busting at the seams as we continue to provide world class enthusiast coverage. Our intention with this merger is to consolidate the "back office" functions and allow the editors to concentrate on content (better content and more of it). We don't have a timeline or a fixed list of changes yet, but things should continue to evolve and improve for our readers.
Bandwidth/speed issues are a top priority.
