Dave s, did you solve your cd changer problem?

I've got the same problem with the CD changer in my S4. Do I really need to take the car into the dealer to have the head unit recognize the CD changer?

It seems strange doesn't it. Does everything work on yours except the "cd error2" too? Have you found any information that indicates we do not need to take it to the dealer?

My appointment is on mon the 24. I also will have them look at the headliner buzz, a stress cracked windshield, and change the control module for auto lock and window up with lock. I will post an update after I get it back, but it will take a day at least.

Yup, I've got the exact same problem.

Everything works except when it tries to read a track it gives me cd err2 and cycles onto the next disc.

I'm also in the bay area and am going to check with Royal Motors to see what needs to be done. What's your email? I'll send you an update if I get any news.
