Great service!!!
Today I had the best experience with my Audi dealership. I spent 2 hours over there with my car.
They showed my so many things about my car by putting it on the lift and using the computer they plug in under the dash. It was so interesting to see how they can check the engine and trans from a simple screen. They didn't stop there, the service manager took a drive with me and I showed them the clunk sound when auto shifting down from 2 to first in tiptronic. Every 2.7T on the lot did the same thing so it was completely normal. Also, when I was passing by with them I said " boy are those TT (topless) nice." Five minutes latter they let me take a test drive with out any hesitation, knowing that I wasn't going to buy it. I also got to drive a VW van wile going from the sales to the service department. After sitting down to a nice soda with my sales rep Donnie and the service manager Tim, I went home with a Audi hat and shirt (free) and a big smile on my face. It is truly amazing how some nice service can make you feel. In return I got a friend of mine to go buy an A4. I only wish that all dealers were as nice as the Rod East of San Antonio TX.

We Texas boys deserve the best, right 323? I had always heard good things about Rod East- and one of the Houston dealers- McGill, I think it is. Central VW/Audi here in Richardson (Dallas suburb) is also great.

As a new member, I've been quietly learning from many of you for the past two months -- it seems like longer because I've also been diligently attempting to decode acronyms and search archives. Thankfully, I was referred here by my Houston Audi dealer sales and service reps. They also referred me to a local Audi group and a performance driving event where I've made local contacts and learned more about the new car. As a first-time Audi owner, I didn't know what to expect. I've been almost embarrassed that the purchase process so wildly exceeded my expectations. Saw the Cashmere on 2.8 A6. The first word outta my mouth was ,, wow!. Absolutely stunning. Elegant color. Was first color choice but I couldn't find one at a dealer with 2.7. Enjoy it. I got my second choice Blue.

My dealer Jack Daniels, Fairlawn, NJ is also great. They gave me an excellent deal,
told me about this forum, is cool with some tinkering and is really nice. They hardwired my Valentine 1 for free and hid the wire in the A pillar!
