WHAT TO DO!?

I have just recently bought a 2.7T and loving every minute of it. My colleague here on the East coast saw that I bought one and went ahead and bought the same color car with slightly different options. Then his friend, whom I also know as an aquaintance also bought one of the same color again with different options! I know this car sells like wildfire but three people, all three who know each other relatively well with the same exact looking car? My lawschool colleagues think this is kind of strange. I have always wanted to be the different or sometimes defiant one. Don't get me wrong...I love this car!! But I am thinking of trading it in for the simple fact of being different. ANY FEEDBACK WOULD BE APPRECIATED

Trade it in for a 4.2. That will separate the men from the boys! ;-)

You will then have an obviously distinctive machine.

It's too late...

I'm in a somewhat similar situation. I have a friend that's looking at Audis (A4 actually) simply because I've ordered my A6. I'm trying to tell him how he should get a Saab or Volvo and, gee, doesn't that Passat look nice.

"So why did you order an A6 then?" "Umm, well, it was the only car available at the time. Yeah. It was either this or a Toyota Echo."

The solution in your case might just to repaint the car. I saw a nice, white Toyota with children's handprints in red, blue, and yellow all over it a few weeks ago. And a New Beetle with each piece in a different color. They certainly were distinctive.

Do the wheels for starters...

Putting nice 17" wheels on the car will distinguish it from the others...at least until they copy you...

Kind of s*cks doesn't it?

I like the wheel idea and how about a trade for a low mileage 2.7T when/if one was available. Lease gone bad, someone moves, etc. You might get a chance for some reason to get a different one. In and out of yours will probably cost you something, however. You'll want to notify several dealers of your needs.

Chip it and ask them to play follow the leader; also buy new wheels -- I like the Ronal LZ's myself

Congratulate yourself on your good taste and leadership

Audi sales are up 90% over this time last year - and we've been going up abt 70% each year for the last 4 years. Things are starting to hit critical mass. Audi outsells BMW by 30% in Europe. From what I have been told, we outsell the 5 series here since last year.

Wheels, tint, chip, and also look at www.advancedmotorsport.com

There is lots of Euro stuff for these cars. Just look for TUV approved to make sure it isn't junk.

They have quad exhaust tips with new rear lower valance and lower front valance for starters. DON'T TELL THEM WHERE YOU GOT THE STUFF !!
