First 100 miles with the SP9000
First of all, these are very quiet tires. I can hear the wind around the side mirrors and the exhaust, but not the road. The grip is improving rapidly and to very high standards. There is some slight trammlining. I will play with pressures and am going to move the track outward by 6mm with spacers to see what this does.
Let you know after the driving school and autocross how these tires really hold up.
I inherited Dunlop 9000's with my newly purchased 1998 A6Q, and was also wondering about tire pressures. Since the stock tires are 205, and these new ones are 225, I wonder if I should mnaintain the pressures listed on the fuel filler flap ( which ones by the way, the softer or the harder ? ), or whether I should go up or down in pressure due to the wider width.
Anyone else have any thoughts?.................Andras
