Debadging
Have any of you debadged your A6 2.7T? I was thinking of removing the A6, 2.7T, quattro, and leaving the 4 rings. I think all are taped on just wanted to make sure. I hate the wax buildup that gets in there. I can never seem to get it all cleaned out. Just wondering.

Kenny is right about the dental floss. The badges are applied using an industrial grade double stick foam. A hair dryer (not a heat gun, can get too hot), the dental floss and a product called GOO GONE will safely remove those badges. GOO GONE is citrus based and safe for your clearcoat. But as always with such products test first and go lightly with the "elbow grease".

Debadging a 6-year old Audi???
I have a '94 100CS, am afraid that that paint will be faded and the paint under the badges will show darker than the rest of the lid. Has anyone tried debadging an older car? I can try glaze/wax, etc+ but don't really want to remove the badges without knowing what I will have to do in advance. BTW, the car is emerald green metallic. Any advice?

I would be hesitant because.....
of the fade you mention and also because the bonding agent has had a lot of time to bake and freeze, bake and freeze, bake and freeeze. You get the idea. It will be much more difficult to remove safely from your paint than relatively new adhesive.
