2001 A6 2.7T Pricing Info

I went by my dealer and got a copy of the pricing info. Here's the list:

There's no mention of Dest. Charge and my questions is does the * mean there's an additional $170 charge for the Nav sys?

I also very much appreciated the pricing information. But -- my dealer (in Houston, Momentum Audi ) wants to charge me $300 additional for prep, they call it PBI. They say everybody charges that. Are they right?

If anyone gets an update on this pricing can you please let me know. I ordered a car based on a discount from the 39500 MSRP plus a 525 destination charge. I would like to make sure that the 39500 does not include the destination charge because if it does my dealer is charging me for it twice. Thanks<p>RBK

There's a note about that not including dest. charge and some other charges.

I'm not at home right now so I can't look at it but I'll post the exact note later. There was no mention of the dest. charge fee. I'm assuming it's 525 tho.

Don't pay PDI

You mean PDI, pre delivery inspection. Audi pays the dealer for this service, they should not pass the cost on to you as then they would be getting paid twice! This charge is not on the dealer invoice. Maybe advertising charges, but not PDI.

I would be very leery of a dealer that asked me to pay PDI.
