There has been much discussion on other Boards (MB and Porsche) about the applicability of the new Bosch +4 Platinum Plugs.
Does anyone have any thoughts or experience wtih their application for our A6? Any advantages, any measurable changes in performance, etc.? ........Andras

Only thing I know about this plug is be very careful...Bosch specifically tests this plug in every engine before recommending it, and I've heard the plug is sensitive to high performance turbocharged four cylinder engines, especially.
Some people on the Saab list have had problems with it, generally due to ground electrode breaking off.
Upshot is if it ain't specifically indexed to your engine by Bosch, I'd stay away from it.
