Tinting A6 sizing
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/tint%20plotter%20multi.jpg"></center><p>At XLNT Tint(Anaheim 714-630-6227), the process for the A6 2000 model tinting, starts out by a database being accessed for the window sizes on this particular car. This is fed into a plotter that will etch out the dimensions on the window tint. Each window is covered by 1 piece of tint. Not 2 or 3 pieces. Even the large back window is done with 1 piece. The plotter cuts the tint but not the backing at this point.

The next step is to wrap the car with a protective sheeting that keeps the car surface safe from any contact such as clothes or a hose, its just a precaution and is a nice touch.

The backing is still in place at this point. They do this till the tint is smooth over the whole surface.

They trim it up and only work the upper half of the window. The lower half still has its backing on. Also important to note is nothing is removed on the door to get the tint on the window. No removal of any panels at all! After it is in place then the lower half is worked on. Because the measurements were plotted at the start, tint size is right on.

The one piece tint is placed with backing still on, onto the outside of window. Note: the blue plastic panels on the side walls hold the tint pieces while work is done.
