Question: Tracking the delivery and Build schedule
Do the dealers give updated as to the schedules and port dates? I've seen many posts on this topic
but did not pay too much attention since I got my 4.2 from dealer stock/swap!

Be aware that in addition to the aggregate report that contains current status for all of the dealer's pending orders, your dealer can run a car-specific query at any time. It results in a print-out that will show among other things current status, key dates (date ordered, date built, date on ship, date ship sailed, etc.). It should also show your name. That's important, because your name on the report identifies the car as pre-sold, which in turn usually results in priority processing once the ship is unloaded at the U.S. port. The end result is that your car will arrive at the dealer up to 2 weeks faster. If your name doesn't appear on the query print-out, you'll probably want to have your dealer make the needed correction.<p>mpuzach
