Default Finally, Ready to Buy in Seattle Area, but....

OK, so I head on down to Robert Larson Audi in Tacoma (close to home). They won't even talk "invoice". I know what I want and do not like being "guided" into a quick sale on the lot. We are very interested in an Ebony Pearl w/tungston interior, 6 spd, Advance interior (leather grey), Premium package (PFX), Preferred Luxury Package (PPL), Cold Package (PAW), Sport Package (PSK), and Guidance (PPY) (aftermarket wheels too).
I am willing to travel almost anywhere to get a price comparable to what you guys/gals that have bought A-6 2.7's on the
AudiWorld site of around $1500 (depending on travel) above Invoice plus TT&L. The best they will do is $3677 above invoice (ouch)... Robert Larson Audi won't even talk Invoice price and is hard pressed to talk about ordering a car for us thus taking one out of their "allocation" from Audi (that to me, sounded weird). Further, I have been told by the salesman that a fully loaded A-6 like mine will take at least 6 months or more to build (sounded skeptical to me but could be true??)... So, bottom line is, where do you guys/gals go to get your great deals??? I will pay whatever minimum to order and cash upon delivery...
Any Names of salesmen, dealers would be appreciated.
I have followed this forum for the past year and learned a lot from all and you folks are GREAT. I want to Play!!!!

Default You might try...

Ernst Gosch at Diablo Audi in Concord California (I'm sure you've seen him mentioned here before). He's very straight forward and won't BS you. He'll even order a car over the phone! I don't know if he'll sell you a car at $1500 above invoice, but they do deal. Their toll free # is (888) 455-9395. Good luck and let us know what you find.

Default Tried Roger Jobs in Bellingham?

We ordered our 98 A6 from them.It did take almost 6 months for the car to come in, but it was worth waiting to get the car we wanted. Our salesman has since moved back to PA but you should be able to get a fair deal.

Default Robert Larson, others

I'm a Barrier Porsche customer and decided to look elsewhere for an A6 2.7T. I went to Larson ~ 4+ months ago, and placed an "order". Nice place, friendly sales w/o the arrogance and "you'll pay what we tell you" attitude of Barrier.

But, now almost September, and my May '00 build car hasn't even started construction, and I don't get answers that make sense. Starting to wonder what's going on...?

Default Re: Ivan Velkov is good

I also work with Ivan...no crap and he knows the cars real well. I'm getting my second A6 from him. I will have a 2.8 up for sale in September as the 2.7 will be in. He has been very responsive and fair on pricing. The facility is a little old but is due to be replaced soon.<p>Bruce '96 993, '00 A6 2.8
