C&D August 2000, when they reviewed the allroad quoted the max turbo pressured as 16.0psi.
That can't be right. Has anyone ever seen north of 10psi?
At 16psi, we would be talking about 300HP on the allroad. That would be nice.

It's a "peak"
The 1.0 bar chips mean it can sustain 1.0 bar at high RPM's but down low they make anywhere from 1.2 bar to 1.4 bar. In a likewise manner, the stock ECU provides a sustained 0.7 bar of boost, but can peak at over 1.0 bar down low.<p><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/AudiWorldPics/2000/LCPawsig1.jpg">
