2.7T intermittent power
I'm new to this and figured you all might be able to provide some insight. I just bought an '01 2.7T 6spd. The power has been effortless and it's a ball to drive. I'm just over 1200 miles and recently, it seems like when driving hard, the car struggles, mostly in 2nd gear, or the tourqe is there intermittently. The car seems to be running fine but it's like the turbos aren't working correctly. Has anyone experienced this?

Not sure but the boost doesn't hit until about 2100 on my car. Its not like a constant acceleration. It feels just like a boost. But I would still ask your dealer just incase.<p>2000 A6 2.7T Tiptronic

I have noticed this also on my 2000 2.7t. I have had the TBB replaced twice by two different dealers and it seems better now but sometimes it just feels like there is much less power. I would hope that the TBB would not be a problem on your 2001 since Audi redesigned it several months ago but you might want it checked. I really can't figure it out but let us know if you ever come up with an answer.
