Registration fees
My lease expires 12/1 and also the registration. My new A6 may not be here by then. What happens if I don't pay the California registration? The lease company will let me lease the car for another month. The question might be would they take it back with an overdue registration.Chase Lease.<p>98 A6Q Europa Blue Mica

Re: Registration fees. Compare the cost of registration with
turning it in on the due date vs the cost of renting a car (enterprise)for a couple of weeks until your new one comes in.
I had an A4 leased with Chase, and they paid property taxes (CT)then billed me after the car was turned in....I suspect they would do the same with registration.

Re: Turn the car in and do not pay the CA fees. Ask the
dealer for a car loaner since your buying the car from them.
Most dealers will work somthing out for you.
If you do have to rent a car ask the dealer to talk to the rental company about the internal rental rate which is usually cheaper than what you can get on your own.
The internal rate is what the dealer pays when Audi has to pay for the rental when your Audi is in service for warranty work.
