No more lurking... just want to thank everyone for all the valuable info. It's nice to go into a negotiation with adequate information, and I got it here.
Unfortunately, it seems the 17" Fittipaldi Polaris wheels I was considering are no longer available... any comments re: the Ronal R7, ATP S5 or Mille Miglia Spider or others as options?
thanks again!
Ming/Melange

If you like the 5-spoke look... and it seems that about 90% of the people here like that best, then I'd probably say Ronal or the MM Spiders... just pick which you like best. Personally, I don't like the look of the 5-spoke wheels on the new style A6 and would go with something a little different. Ronal LV is a great looking wheel, plus AEZ has some really nice wheels in 17".
>>Muhammad

And thanks to all you knowledgeable Audi enthusiasts for steering me to this great piece of machinery!

Prior to the 1st application, wash the car using a mild dishwashing liquid (Zaino recommends Dawn) in warm water to remove the existing wax.
Next, apply a thin layer of Z1 pre-cleaner. You do this only before the first application, and then only every 8 or so applications. There's no need to wipe it off.
Apply Z2 polish; let dry (usually takes about 30 - 60 minutes; wipe off. It goes on and comes off very easily. I can apply to the entire car in 15 minutes, wipe off entire car in about an hour.
Spray on and IMMEDIATELY wipe off Z6 gloss enhancer spray. Do just a couple of square feet at a time; wipe off before it dries, as it WILL spot. The shine after this step is incredible.
After doing all of this for the first time, I've been using Zaino Z7 to wash the car. I like it, and it supposedly doesn't strip off the previous applications. This is important, because the shine definitely improves with each successive application.
That's it. I'm hooked on the stuff.
mpuzach
