Was told by the dealer a month ago when I did the deal....mid October. I called yesterday for an update and I was told it will be November now. Sales consultants from the dealerships will be taking "allroad classes" in Virginia in the fist week of September. All AofA has told the dealers is that there will be a heavy demand on the east coast considering the now late fall deliveries.I was told all 4 allroads are now spoken for at Anchor Audi in Long Island as their first months supply and that the price will be between 45-50K.
The dealers do expect that any cars that have not been "special ordered" as mine was with the 3rd child seats will go for $2500 over invoice plus a premium upon delivery to the dealers. Invoices / Sales Orders have been written up in my case as "price to be determined upon delivery... with an option cancel at no cost if I with to do so." This,I'm hoping means, since I just bought my $52K A6 4.2 and the first to special order the allroad, leave the K-Y jelly home and we won't make it too painfull!
