intermittent accessory power
Just bought 2001 A6 2.8 Q. Been reading this forum for two months now but dont see a reference to this. Sometimes sunroof and windows can be opened and closed after engine is shutdown and sometimes they cannot be. Audi advertises retained accessory power, and power does seem to be retained always in case of the radio for example. However I have to turn key in ignition sometimes to close the windows. Any ideas?
Another point. The nav system is so good, all cars should have one.

My '89 A90 would keep interior power after the ignition was shut down and until someone opened a door. As soon as a door came open, power went off. I haven't checked with my newly purchased '98 A6, but I'll be heading out in a bit and will confirm.<p>'98 A6 2.8Q Auto

I think A6Monkey is right. As soon you open any door power drops. Also...
after a specific time it will turn power off.
If your experience is inconsistant with this I would also recommend to call dealer.
