Replacing Xenon broken in accident
One of my Xenons headlamps was cracked when was hit recently. I seem to remember a post some weeks ago that indicated that some replacement Xenons were giving off a yellowish hue rather than a bluish light. If so, I'm wondering if there is a part number or particular Xenon brand that would insure a bluish light to match the other light. It would look a little weird for the headlights to glow with different colors! Is there some way I can make sure the body shop orders the right part? Thanks.

Assuming its an insurance-paid repair, the lights should match each other when you get the car back. If the blue xenon bulbs are discontinued, you may have to settle for two new yellowish ones (they'd replace both), or pay the difference for non-OEM bulbs. Have the body shop estimator make a note of it so they'll be aware there's a potential matching problem up front.
