Brake pad warning light, 99 A6Q

Looks like I need new brake pads on my 1999 A6Q. Any suggestions on aftermarket pads that will not dust up the wheels and maybe stop a little better? Thanks Gary.

Ferodo, Mintex

Muhammad has had good results with his Ferodos. Mintex are supposedly the Euro-spec pads. Both are lower dust pads. EBC greenstuff is supposedly the lowest dust available, but reports have been mixed.

I don't know who makes 2.8 pads, you'll have to search.

I'd go with Rofren or Ferodo for the street...

<a href="http://www.gprparts.com">GP&R</a> for Ferodos or <a href="http://www.eurobraketech.com">EBT</a> for Rofren. Rofrens are a little more $. I have them on my A6q and like them a lot... great modulation and much better stopping power than stock pads. Best of all, no dust, fade, or noise. I'd buy them again without a doubt. I have Ferodos on the rear, and they do the job.

No dust either, but I can't say if the fronts would be dust-free. i have a set in the box that I'll put on my 100CS soon.

Mintex and EBC both do dust from what I have heard, but not as much as the stock pads. My Rofren pads haven't dusted at all. Let me know if you have any other questions... I've posted probably two dozen times on this issue so I might as well only answer specific questions if you have any, instead of posting a lot about my experience with them.
