not sure if anyone has seen this, but for the 95-97 A6ers here..

www.bahnbrenner.com has a chip available for the 12v V6 that adds 10hp.

One of the guys in the miscmodel forum pointed this out, and said he should have one in two weeks. Might be something to look into if you wanna add some HP (adds to the list of other things to be done to the 12v)

I think its pretty expensive for 10hp, but it might be worth it.

I'd guess it's for the very early production '92 models...

That used the Bosch ECU, which got replaced by the Hitachi.

Either way, I'd rather not cut my carpet than clip .075 off the 0-60 time.

hmmm 172 to 182 hp. do you think youd notice the difference? wish there were more mods available

love the car (98 A6Q wagon - which is the last of the 12v's) wish it was faster.

** Edit, wbimmerslayer, who has ordered one and originally posted has a 1994 Audi 90... later year one.. not sure what ECU it has though **

Possibly he was misinformed, not sure.. and the web page says "All Years"

I would call before ordering one of cource, to be sure. But from what I can tell its for any 12v?

Yet again, not sure if its worth it.. but its nice to know its there
