I hate those damm 4x4 lifted pick ups.(more ranting)
to a crawl and back up to 60) when I end up behind this Dodge pick up.
It was lifted and had those big off roading tires that hum. Suddenly I see
this streak of light shoot up from under one of the rear tires, and as it
hit me that this streak was a rock, SMACK!!!
It hit me, literaly. Now I have a crack about 1/2" long on the passenger's
side of the windshield about 6" down from the roof. When I got to work I
took a closer look and saw that a nice chunk of glass is gone on the outside.
I's there anything I can do to repair this and make the crack disapear? I
heard somewhere(don't exactly remember where) that it was possible to have
cracks "buffed" out of your windshield, is this true? Any help is apreciated,
oh and thanx for listening.

This is important! Do the same thing if a truck spills junk all over your car or doesn't have anything covering its wheels in the rear to keep stuff from flying off its rear wheels or if you're in a convertible and someone tosses a cigarette butt out that flys into your car.
Otherwise, they'll keep doing it. Take a stand!
