I think my car was totaled today.......

I knew better than to park where I did, seeing as to how the exact same thing happened to a collegue of mine last year, but I parked on the corner by our warehouse's loading dock and a 53' class 8 semi truck trailer was dragged across the nose of my 4.2.

It looks bleak. The front and the front drivers side of the unit body are crushed and the engine is not actually attached to it's mounts anymore. I doubt it can be fixed, and if it can, I don't want it back.

Uugh :-(

Sorry to hear that... makes me feel like I have no right to complain about a crack on my windsield.

I hope for your sake it's totaled, but it's very hard to "total" a $50k car...

Even if it cost $35k to fix, the insurance company would rather do that than give you $45-50k for a new one.
