Chipped 2.7t and waiting
Took my car to Wetterauer in Koblenz yesterday to have a new chip installed. The service there was excellent, I actually had the chance to chat with Herr Wetterauer while the chipping process was taking place. If you plan on chipping your car these are the people to see. The power comes on very strong and keeps on coming. The only problem I'm having now is the fact that my new wheels and tires are showing up late to the party. I really don't think pushing the car with the stock tires would be a very good idea. I did take the car to 140 though. (Just a kid in a candy store)

Re: What year is your 2.7T? Do you have an immobilizer?
2001, If your having your chip installed I wouldn't worry about any immobilizer. These tuning company's are suposed to be professional right. I am very impressed with my chip. I also heard another very interesting thing. I guess if you also change out the air intake valve from the plastic to metal its supposed to add something like 40 more HP. I need to find out more information.
