Off Topic, but thought I'd share cause it's interesting...
Ironically, everyone who showed up except for me was driving a 5-series wagon... Who wouldve thought enthusiasts drive wagons?? One interesting car that showed up was a BMW 1994 525iX Touring Wagon, with a 5-speed manual and All wheel drive.. It was purchased in France, the owner shipped it himself to NY to have the US conversion done, and he was driving it back to his home in Alaska shortly after our meet.. The car was purchased for $13k US dollars, and the total conversion cost $6k, Car was in perfect condition.. One car that was supposed to show up but didnt was a 1994 Euro model M5 Wagon with the euro only 3.8 litre engine.. The owner recently purchased the car for $38k all inclusive including the US conversion.. Not Audi related, but thought it was really interesting, particularly the all wheel drive BMW 5-series wagon..
Thanks..
