Default Koni Upgrade--Settings?

Those of you who have added the Eibach/Koni springs/shocks to your A6 2.7T, where did you have the Koni's set? Also, if youv'e changed the setting on the Koni's, what was the result of the adjustment?

Default Better than DLow's answer....

Koni-NA Tech support told me to run shocks at 1/2 to 3/4 turn out from full soft for use with the Eibach Pro Kit spring, and to leave at full soft for the stock spring.

On the A6, this is essentially a one-time adjustment, as you have to do MAJOR dis-assembly to re-adjust!!!

On my Mustang, full soft is bouncy (with Eibach springs) and full hard is too stiff. On the Audi, I am at 3/4 turn out, and it is kinda stiff. I hope the ride improves as the shocks/springs break in. I am running 235/40x18 tires. Handling is now amazing.

Hope this helps.

Default My Experience

I had the Eibach/Koni set-up added last week. The shop apparently felt that one-half-plus turn in the front and no adjustment (i.e. full soft) in the rear would be the best. If you think that three-quarters is too much, maybe they are right. I wanted to go back and ask for an adjustment--stiffer front and rear, but now I understand that you have to take everything apart to make the adjustment, so I don't want to ask unless I have some good information that a different setting will be better.
