Default Cleaning Product for Dash and Instrument Cluster

What's a good product to use to clean/protect the dash, wood trim and other various trims in the Audi? I was considering Zymols' Protectant, but I think this has a gloss to it and I wanted more of a flat finish. Also, what is good to clean the plastic face on the instrument cluster? I'm afraid if I wipe it with a cloth, it will scratch. Would like to know what other Audi owners are using for dash and instrument cluster cleaning/protecting. Any comments appreciated. Thanks

Default Lexol Vinylex leaves no gloss...

You can get it at Pep Boys or at http://www.carcareonline.com. You can use it on the plastic too. If you don't want to put anything on the instrument cluster plastic just use water.

Default I use Vinylex, too. It does leave some gloss, but nothing like ArmorAll.

The gloss is mild and 'tasteful' (if that makes any sense). Makes the surface look 'clean'.

I asked the same question about the clear plastic on the instrument panel a while back and didn't get many responses. I ended up using the same cotton cloth I was using to apply the Vinylex, followed by a clean cotton cloth to remove any excess. Seemed to work OK, I didn't notice any scratching.

Default Vinylex is the way to go

As for the clear plastic, use the damp chamois you used on the rest of the dash. The dash doesn't really need to be "cleaned," just dusted. Same for the clear plastic.

If you get a film because of offgassing, the chamois should remove it, otherwise there are spray products for cleaning convertible rear windows that do a good job (e.g., Meguiars). Just don't use any elbow grease and you shouldn't scratch.
