Wheel locks vs break in damage
So what is the opinions out there? I could drive home with damage to the trunk but if they got the wheels...I would be stuck. I don't know...
The manufacturer (I believe McGard) had to ship a special tool to the stealership service dept. to get that booger off. So, since Murphy's Law can never be repealed, assume that the thieves already have all the key variants, and that when you really need to (dark and stormy night, etc.) you will NOT be able to remove the lock.
Sorry to cheer you up
