dunlop sp 9000 tires out of round on new a6? anyone else?
Dealer would not help went to 2 townfairs only one was willing to help with replacement. (audi told me tire was out of rund could not balance it,Audi dealers?) i am unsure whether to buy another Audi again!

Find someone with a Hunter wheel balancer. It can tell you if the problem is with the wheel or
the tire. The Hunter is uncanny in the hands of a good operator. Go to Dunlop dealer. Tires are often pro-rated.
Would you not buy a Gateway computer again if the Microsoft product installed on the system crashed and Gateway people were less than helpful ? or would you not buy Microsoft ?
My SP9000s have been fine for the past year ,7000 miles and one track time. Haven't heard of too many being screwed up. In fact, less than other performance tires.

Had the same issue with Pirelli P6000
Audi told me that they were out of round and that was what was causing a 10-20mph low speed vibration. They checked the 4 wheel allignment and gave me copy of the report and the specs for the car. The allignment was in spec. I then went back to Discount Tire with all of this in hand and they replaced the tires. I chose a different brand (NITTO) so that if those tires became out of round then I could go to Audi and they would then be responsible for replacement. Good Luck and remember to rotate every 5k.

Usually 65-80 but varies
depending upon ambient temperature, tyre temperature. I've been up to 100mph and still felt it after some heavy driving, but above 120mph it's gone again. I strongly suspect that the tyres are out of round, but only slightly. I guess a less finely tuned car than an Audi might not feel it so much?
