2.7T In Accident
I come home from school to receive such great news (sarcasm)...A tractor-trailor, on 287 in NJ, decided that it doesn't matter if anyone is in the other lane they can switch anyway. I talked to her briefly and luckily she was alright (thank you Audi quality)...the A6 I am not to sure about. She didn't say much except that she was alright and that the cops had just gotten there. Hopefully it isn't bad, the car is only 1 1/2 weeks old.
I still love the Audi's though...Getting my Laser Red '01 A4 1.8T Quattro, 5 spd, sport, celebrity, cold weather, bose, xenon, this weekend (hopefully)
If it wasn't for the safety features of the A6 who knows how this would have turned out..

What the hell is going on with all these accidents? Winter is over!
Glad the wife/girlfriend? is OK. Too bad your new car has been brutalized. It's nice to know there's a lot of airbags and heavy steel, etc between the passengers and the offenders, although battling trucks is still tough.

I hope you asked how she was before how the car was. I made the foolish error of the reverse after my wife near-totaled a Geo Metro with her 2 week old Outback. In my mind I new she was OK because my phone ID'd her as calling from home, but it still didn't go over well.

Update
Well when my mom got home I was waiting there to greet her. I made sure she was alright then I checked out the car. Apparently the truck didn't stop...but traffic did. My mom tried to switch lanes but couldn't get all the way out. Luckily the truck just caught the corner. The bumper has a small crack and is dented and the passenger side rear tail light was cracked. The trucker admitted it was his fault and his insurance should pick up the bill, which will probably be around $2k( I am guessing...Rear Bumper, tail light assembly, and labor). But any other car and the whole rear would probably have been smashed in.
