Bose won't recognize CD Changer - please help

I installed a Panasonic 8-disc CD changer CX-DP88U into my 2001 A6 2.7T with Bose radio. I used the Blitzsafe audi\pan DMX V2 adapter to connect it to the plug in the trunk. As soon as I hook it up it feeds in the CDs and I can eject the changer cartridge, etc. But when I try to activate it with the CDC button on the console - no dice. I thought that maybe if I reset the radio it might recognize the changer. I have tried to remove the radio fuse - but when I reconnect it it doesn't ask me for the radio code!

I know that others here have gotten this working.

Any help would be appreciated.

Did you ask Blitzsafe? They should know how to introduce them

Big reset should not be needed...

.. or at least it is was not with the factory OEM unit.
My saleperson installed the one I pulled fron my old A6 while I waited. Turned off the car, plugged it in, turned the car on, and the CD changer was 'there'

make sure the radio is code for a cd changer,if it's a bose system[amp in trunk says bose on it]coding is 00117

ok,first plug in the cd changer and go to the radio.push and hold the mode button and turn on the radio,the display should say "connect",if it says "no cdc"the problem is in the harness from the trunk to the back of the radio.if the car is 98-up,the radio is coded [control module] for bose,non-bose,active antenna,passive antenna,dash display,cd changer.if the amp behind the right rear trunk trim panel[can seen through storage compartment]says bose,it's a bose system and it's control module coding is 00117
