Audi going to standard sport suspension in US apparently
C&D mentions the ride height of the new A4 is equivalent to the ride height of the old sport A4. So I would assume the A6 is the same way. Dunno about the A8 or TT though.
It would appear Audi thinks their new sport suspensions are right for everyone here in the US. With my experience with the old (current) sport suspensions on the A4 and A6 I have to say that I think very very few people would find the sport suspension objectionable. And the new ones should ride a little better since they have les unsprung weight.
don't remember much about older audi's but, bmw 3 series used to have 15" std, 16" on their E30 M3. now their 3 series have 16" std, 17" optional, and 18" on M3 and 19" optional on M3.
it is a good thing...=)

Of course, it may ride lower, but it is not necessarily as firm as the sport suspension on the current A4 and with standard seats, it should still be comfortable for fat-*** Americans
Bringing Audi to Life for Audi Fans
There might be a sport steering wheel in our future also.
Many still are crazy and want to firm it up even more and race the 2-ton boat...thusly needing a more substantial suspension set-up. Most 4.2 owners are older and fat, but they still think they are 18 so they want their ride to be low and hard with no body roll despite the 4.2 enormous girth and largess. Not too many race 'em but still a select few want a sick-*** suspension set-up that allows for no roll, pitch, or dive at all. They want to make their wife very uncomfortable so she has no desire to ever take the car and leave him with the Outback
Just kidding with the stereotypes above, for the most part. I'm not old or fat
