chip for 2.7 t

what's people's experience with apr/6 speed. Good reliability? 1/4 mile time? Do it again?

A client of mine has one and it is way fast.

He says that he has had no problems at all with it. I would be careful with chipping if you drive at high altitudes. The pressure ratio of a one bar chip (most are about one bar) at altitude could possibly overspeed the turbochargers and damage them. I am fairly sure that the turbos, on my 2000 2.7t, were damaged when I blew the TBB on the road between Lee Vining and Hawthorne, NV. The combination of a high pressure ratio due to the low atmospheric pressure (I was WOT) and the sudden loss of manifold pressure (due to the hose tearing) caused the turbos to overspeed. The increased pressure from chipping would make the situation even worse and might be enough to overspeed the turbos even with no air leak, at high altitude.
