eibach springs for a6 4.2... has anyone put them on yet??

eibach springs for a6 4.2... has anyone put them on yet??
i went to eibach site they say they are not ready for sale still under development. is this true or not??? how do i get them? what handling change good/bad for the 4.2?

The elusive 4.2 springs. Apparently 5 sets were made only and sent by air to Eibach in California.
After waiting for months some of us on the Aw board (thanks to Doug4.2) got wind of the shipment. you could not order thru eibach but had to go thru the distributors. So it was kind of like a lottery with people ordering sets(and paying for them) ahead of thier arival.
No one was sure who would actually get one of the five sets. I actually had a contact at eibach and he confirmed "5 sets" but he could not sell them to me (he could give them to me for "testing") but the 5 were already promised to the distributors. Doug got the 1st set I know of, hoping he will post before I install next week. Yes I have a set from my order, they do exist. good luck in your search.

I expect them to lower the car by 3/4" (1 1/2"? on a non sport). I expect them to stiffen the ride some but only when spirited driving (on the track of course :-). I am not going to change the shocks, keep the stock sport set. Post when I have some time on them or they dont work out.
