2.8 modifications...
I hate it when people post questions like this on my S2000 site, but I am sincerely wanting to get an A6 and I have a question for those that know. I just went to the dealership last week to see if I could swing a deal for the 2.7T and they wouldnt give me the deal I wanted so I walked. But now I am thinking about the 2.8 IF there are mods that can be done to this car to make it faster. Can anyone either tell me what and how much can be done for around $4k or what links I could go to to check it out for myself. Thanks!

4K too little
5K gets you a supercharger. Almost no other mod makes a noticable difference. For the 5K you end up at about the same level as a 2.7T, perhaps a little faster. You still are short the large brakes from the 2.7T though. Probably not worth it.
If you want an Avant though, it's the only way to go unless you want an allroad.
