Fan on 2.7T 2001

Fan makes lould noise and runs for 20-30 minutes after I shut off car. Anyone else experiencing this problem?

That's not right. My 2000 used to run for a minute or two in 105 degree weather. My 2001 seems to shut down after a few seconds no matter how hot it is.

make sure both electric fans work.the electric one under the hood in the radiator shroud likes to get locked up,making the one on the condensor sound like it's ready to take off because it's trying to work double time

not exactly.the fan gets locked up by a rubber baffle that's placed between the radiator core and the shroud.it falls in when the fan goes on and sucks air through the radiator.if it stays locked up to long it burns out the fan controller[won't burn the car].probem since 98'
