5k review and good service experience @ Diablo (long-ish)
Had my 5k service done last Friday. Had no trouble making appointment a few days ahead of time. I dropped off the car at 11AM, had lunch with a customer, and picked up the car at 1PM. Service personnel were friendly and car was hand-washed. Diablo has been great to deal with thus far!
Overall, my first 5k miles have been fantastic. Other than the lousy selection of stock wheels/tires to choose from (one area BMW has it all over Audi IMHO), I can't think of a complaint. I'm really starting to get a good feel for the handling characteristics and motor. Sure, it could handle better but if that's what I was looking for I would have gone for a S4 or used M3. I think the 2.7T is unmatched as a highway cruiser with the ability to handle (not master) the twisites fairly well. Anyone who complains about their 2.7T seeming less powerful over time have got to learn how to use Tip. The sport seats are settling in well also and I would recommend them to anyone who can fit into them (I can - I'm tall and (used to be) lanky). I'm definitley looking forward to seeing and meeting my Nor Cal A6 brethren in November - Finman, when is S6 going to be delivered...I feel a drooling fit coming on!
