Interesting VW TSB on electronic throttles
I don't recall seeing this on the Audi side, but I bet it still applies.
FWIW, I do sometimes press both pedals at once, to keep the revs up. Left foot braking is much better, except with manual trannies of course.<ul><li><a href="http://www.springbreakdaytonabeach.com/vwtech/www.vwwebsource.com/vwtechcontent/vwpdf/v010101.pdf">VW TSB</a></li></ul>

To left foot brake with Audi's DBW, you must brake first and then apply throttle...
...if you apply throttle, brake, and continue to apply throttle, the throttle will cut out. It only works if you go from an off-throttle situation, brake and then apply throttle while still on the brakes.
