Anyone with an S6 on order got a build-date or anything?
Mine is still in status "A" or whatever that essentially says "yeah, yeah, yeah...we'll get around to it when and if we feel like it".
I guess as the alledged initially proposed delivery date is getting closer, I'm getting more anxious (in an anticipatory way, not nervous way) and want to see some progress. I guess I should stick with my own original estimate of January, not the suggested November. It just seems that if we're getting (allegedly) the first in NorCal, then this thing should have started cruisin' down the assembly line.
Does anyone have a link to the explanations of what the order status codes mean?...I can't remember and didn't pay much attention last year, since mine was on a boat when I ordered it. Thanks.

Depends when allocation was made available for this region.
The regional reps place orders w/Germany on a quarterly basis. They try to gauge demand of various models for the next few months and base the allocation totals on that. They then divvy up those cars to dealers on a monthly basis using an incomprehensible formula.
What this boils down to is this - you may have the first order for the region, but the regional rep may not have moved as quickly as others. If you get a dealer print-out, send it to me.
