Anyone had their car replaced by Audi due to mechanical defects? X-post from A4.

Yes,
I had my '99 2.8 replaced because the dash electric system went out. I made numerous calls to dealer (Northland Porche/Audi in Cincinnati) until a regional Audi representative called me and told me they would replace the car. This was about 3 months after I bought it new in '99.
It worked to their advantage as I upgraded this July to an '01 2.7T vs. leaving the franchise. Plus, I'm now a big Audi supporter.
