Installed it last night. Looks and feels great. Now all my five senses are in melodious symphony while driving, and the car is exactly what I always wanted it to be. The thicker feel of the shift **** completes the sublime shifting experience of the UUC short shifter. Thanks again for arranging the group buy!
On a separate note, it's been over a month with the Eibach springs now, and I love the car ever so more. I don't usually drive the car to work, but my brother's been using my other car lately, so I've been driving the Audi everyday to work for the past two weeks. The car has grown on me like a fungus ;-) The car corners much flatter (obviously helped by the PSK sway bar upgrade), and it's ten times as much fun to drive at freeway speeds. I had written about my annoyance with it's 'lifted' feel when driven fast. All that's changed with the Eibachs. There is less roll, dive and sqwat, and the car feels totally in control. The steering characteristics have also improved dramatically, and it feels much more precise, once again, especially at high speeds. Finally, the short shifter seems to have broken-in now, and shifts more smoothly and precisely.
Audi should really make the A6 standard with the mods I have. I can't imagine any A6 owner who would dislike the performance benefits I've achieved.
