Is that my car making that noise or am I next to The Grave Digger Monster Truck?
If you are traveling on concrete frequently it will be much louder. If you have have the stock A/S tires I doubt it is the tires. Most A/S tires are relatively quiet. The driveline noise varies with load, speed, terrain/road. As I said, most people will not even notice the noise but even if you do eventually it becomes white noise. I don't notice it anymore unless I specifically pay attention.
Hope this helps.

Stu B may be referring to a much more sinister problem. I'll let him get into that.

If you feel a vibration, that is different from harmonics. Any vibration should be reported to the dealship and investigated. All tires are not round. The dot on the side of the tire represents the heaviest spot. The dot inside your wheel represents the heaviest spot. These should be opposite of each other, but are not always mounted correctly. Any kid at any factory can make a mistake. Investigate any vibration!
Good Luck and let us know.
