what % of the labor of changing shocks could be applied to changing springs also?
Now changing springs alone might be less work than both because you dont have to pull the bolt at the top of the shock.
Just my opinion.
She is very picky about this, but that is why I pay her so much money!
Seeme to me that the spring labor is zip. nada.
Now, I am going outside to bounce up and down on the fender for 4 hours to try and get the shocks to wear out!

I had springs AND shocks done on the TT.
Both were done at the same shop and included alignment.
The labor cost was identical.
So you _could_ conclude that the cost for replacing just the shocks was $0 !
Now, if I had done shocks only on the A6, the labor would have been the same, but you _could_ conclude that the cost for replacing just the springs was $0. So it's not that simple to break it up. The whole assembly comes out as one piece. Sliding the old springs out of the perches and putting in the new ones takes a couple of minutes (though the rear setup in the TT is completely different than the A6).
Hope this helps.
